Discover North America's oldest commercial flour mill.

Standing tall in Château-Richer on ground that once belonged to Louis Jolliet along Avenue Royale (the so-called New France Route), Moulin du Petit Pré was built in 1695 by Mgr. François Montmorency de Laval and Séminaire de Québec.

A corporation set up to promote the mill has had the water wheel back in action since 2003. Moulin du Petit Pré is also a bakery, bistro café, and store, where you can find organic products, take guided tours, and so much more!
